February Meeting – Judging and Homebrewing for Competitions

Join us Monday, February 23rd at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, for our monthly DOZE meeting!

Judging and Homebrewing for Competitions
As a follow up to last months presentation on brewing for competitions at a commercial scale, we are holding a panel talk from experienced competitors and judges within the club on their experiences competing at a homebrew scale.

Social Table
Don’t forget to bring a growler of your home-brewed beers, meads, or ciders for the Social Table. Don’t be shy, bring in your brew to share its amazingness or to get advice on improvement. There are several judges in the club and if you need an opinion on your brew, there will be someone on hand to assist. If you are bringing something non-homebrew it’s always encouraged to bring something that matches to BOTM table for style comparison.

Social time begins at 6:30 pm; meeting begins at 7:00.
Bring your own glass for sampling.

BOTM will be British, Irish and Scottish Ales
Bring at least 32 oz. of your best beer to earn points towards the coveted Homebrewer of the Year Award.
Be sure to label! (Style/ABV, your name on on the back).
Each attendee may cast one vote for their favorite on the BOTM table.

Don’t forget to pay your dues and support your local taproom/bottle shop/brewery.
After Meeting Social will be at OL Beercafe!
