February Meeting
We discussed the schedule of events and meetings for the year. Our planning team has done a great job so far, but they could use any ideas you might have. Talk to Dr. Scott if you have ideas, or if you're interested in helping to plan a Pyramid-sponsored competition.

We held the all-Belgian competition. The entries ran from light golden ales to complex trippels to spicy witbiers. No prizes were awarded, probably because of the night's high alcohol content. Thanks to all the people who submitted entries!

We had a couple of people bring in some nifty gadgets for show-and-tell. It was pretty successful - so keep bringing them in!

Chris showed everybody how to use the Yahoo! "clubdoze" group. This is a great way to share your thoughts and resources with the rest of the club.

The web site update was slow in coming, Chris and Phil are ironing out the kinks and trying to keep this page up-to-date.

Coming Soon!

Big Brew is coming! March 9 is the date - come brew up a batch, help somebody else brew, or just walk around and watch!

Guest Speakers:

  • Vinny from Russian River wasn't able to make the February meeting, but we hope to get him to come in soon. Vinny has lots of experience with brewing and marketing Belgian-style beers.
  • Chris White from White Labs will be speaking at the March meeting.

The Booneville trip will be April 19. Don't miss it!

Don't forget that March 10 is the deadline for the World Cup of Beer entries (hosted by Bay Area Mashers).
